When I last wrote I was about to take part in a Badminton Dressage qualifier, I am pleased to say that Sky was a star and produced a above 60% test to come equal 6th. Since then we have completed our first BE Open100 at West Wilts where we completed a lovely double clear finishing on our dressage score of 35.5 very good for his first competition. He is now aimed at Stockland Lovell BE100Open before he and Blue will be aimed at Wilton ON.
Blue has also been on top form finishing his first ON of the season in 12th position at Mount Ballen, he did a ok dressage test seeing as a photographer jumped out of the hedge on me! One pole down in a very big SJ and a lovely positive clear round a deceptivly challenging course. He has been having a small break now as he has a big July/Aug with Pony Club areas and BE events.
I am also very excited as it is my first BE on Bertie soon, we are aimed at the ROR qualifier at Ascott U-W before that he has a unaffiliated event at West Littleton next week. Fingers crossed he goes as well as he has been schooling, He has a huge scopey pop in him and I am very positive he will be a top horse in the near future.
Since my last blog I have been on holiday with my boyfriend, fellow event rider Rach Hill and my other friend Emma. We went away to Kos in Greece for a week holiday, we had imense fun that I am sure all of us will be talking about for years to come! It was nice to get away and have some fun and sun and lots of dancing!
Also since my last Blog you may have seen my Diary in Equine, canine and country life magazine. Please keep your eyes peeled as I will be writing in there regularly, big thanks goes to Kathy at Sirenia for this opportunity.
I am also in the process of setting up a new professional website with one of my sponsors Chris at the Rugman Services, I have seen the new page layouts at it all looks very swish so big thanks to Chris and his wife. I am the Bristol base for their rugwashing and repairs so please contact me if you are interested.
It is half way through the year and I want to say a huge thank you to all Sponsors/supporters, owners, fans and followers. This year is already turning out well and we are very positive and excited for the future. Thanks Guys!
